Hi to all, especially patchem,
The info was very helpful, how do I find these people who you said, have Edgar on their tree, as when I put him into searches, it doesn't say he appears on any tree.?
Any help would be most appreciated, I'm a newbie, keeping going around in circles. David

That tree owner also has other Cooks born in Birch Hills.

Born when?

Have you looked to see if anyone on here has Edgar or Mabel in their trees?

If so, you can then try to contact them for further information.

If born in 1889, Flamstead, Edgar is in 2 people's trees, but not yours?

Added:
think you have that date, but no place of birth.

Hi, I'm trying to trace any living relations to EC He was my paternal grandmothers brother, her name was Mabel Cook and came from Flamstead in Hertfordshire.
Any contact would be appreciated as I can extend and confirm dates / names etc. on my family tree.
