As the birth is over 50 years ago she can get a copy of his birth cert . It may say on it adopted which may be why no further records of him show

I personally am not related. But one of my best friends, who does not use a computer is. So I said I would try.
I have found the birth registered in Cambridge but after that nothing.

I am trying to trace a Brian Garwood who was born Dec 1947 (I think) in the Cambridge/Saffron Walden area, I also believe he was fostered (but not adopted) as a young baby and may have lived somewhere near Cambridge.
