Adoption 1941 Surrey/Kent trying to find

I'm tring every avenue I can think of to try and locate twin sisters born on the 9th August 1941. They are my mothers Aunts. They were adopted at birth by we believe a doctor and his family and we believe they were adopted together but we have no way of knowing if this was true. . The Adoption we believe was either done in Surrey or Kent right after the Birth. They were born in Leatherhead in Surrey, their birth names were Jennifer & Judith Searles. I know Jennifer was born at 1:20am, I have yet to get a copy of Judith's birth certificate. Jennifers Certificate is marked with adoption.
We would love to find them as they have a huge birth family that would love to know what happened to them, and for them to know they have been thought of often.I am in the process of joining the registry. We know very little of the Adoption, but there was talk they may have emigrated later on with their adoptive family to either new zealand or Austraila. If anyone would be able to futher help me in my search or even know what happened to them, Please get in contact.

Welcome to the boards, Jen.

If you put their names and their birth parents' names in your tree on here, if they come looking, or anyone who knows them and their story comes looking, then they can contact you.

Could you remove your email address from your post?
It is against genes terms and conditions and might lead to your posting being removed.

Anyone can contact you by clicking on your name to send you a message, just remember to keep your contact details that genes hold correct.

Added:
Free bmd has the twins' Mother as Doris, not Dorris.

As you are related, you can add yourself to the national adoption contact register, which one or both of them may also have done.

It's worth a shot

I see you have only one of them in your tree on this site.

No-one else has them listed on here

Email address has been removed from the post, I am in the process of joining the registry, birth parents were Dorris beautrice (nee fullex) and Edward james searles. My mum knows nothing of her maternal grandfather as he emigrated to canada before she was born and she never met him, he died in 1979. I mainly use ancestry for my tree but will add all relevent names to my tree on here. Thx for the info so far. Regards Jen
