I am currently researching the crew of Lancaster ED 347 who lost their lives over Holland in Dec 1942. Sgts Hill and Sykes were members of that crew and any information about them would be very gladly received.

Hi Gritty,
Thanks for the info. I do actually know these details, but what I am trying to find is family members of these two chaps.(apologies as I didn't make this clear) My father was a member of the crew and I am in touch with a Dutch Archavist who is writing a book about all 11 planes that crashed in this area, ED347 being one of them. We have found five families and would very much like to contact the remaining two. Your efforts are much appreciated though and anything you can find out about any living relations would be a real coup!!!
Best wishes.
