Find Living Relatives

I am trying to find my birth father David O'Brien who worked at The Adelphi Hotel, Liverpool in 1964/5, possibly earlier and later than this date. He was about 27 when I was born so would be about 77 now. He was from Ireland originally and worked as an assistant manager. My birth mother also worked in the hotel, I have traced and written to her but she has declined to get in touch. I would dearly love to find out more information from anyone who knew my father. I don't want to disrupt his life, if he is still alive, but would like to know more about him.
From what I have read in my adoption papers he acted in a decent and responsible way. I'd like him to know I had a loving upbringing within a kind and supportive family.

Yvonne, as one of the pinned posts at the top suggests ... can you just put in your post what kind of information you have sent? not the details, just: is it David's birth, or marriage, or family members, or a current address ... and how did you know it is the right David ... ?

If no one knows what you have found, no one knows whether to try to help Gillian further.

just sent electrol address seemed about the same age in liverpool but dont think it was the right one as i did not get a reply

no reply ... Gillian shows as a member since 2003 with 1 post ... I wonder whether her email address in her account is 12 years old! (oh, or did she open the message but not reply ...)
