She has sent me one which I'd asked her to add to the thread. In case she's finding it difficult to use the site, basically it was that

The half sibling is female
Was born before 1965
The half sibling would be entitled to use the surname Evans

From that I'm assuming that the parent in common was their father.

I have tried to advise Julie to come back to the Living Relatives Board but I have received a pm from her to say she cannot open my message.

As this is Julie's first request I have asked her to come back to Living Relatives Board.

Having had time to have a look, it would seem that your birth reg has 3 surnames associated with it. Which one do you think your half sibling would carry?

Welcome to the boards Julie.

Do you know your half sibling's name? If not, what other details do you have? What's the mutual parent's name?

If your names haven't changed since birth eg by adoption, you might consider editing your title - click edit on your opening post - and remove your full date of birth. Month, Year and place should suffice.

Can't be too careful about identity theft nowadays ;-)
