Have you tried ForcesReunited? Someone on there might know of him, although there are lots of people with that name on the electoral registers so you may need more information about him.

His name Alan Cowan he was in navy back in 1970s when met my mum Pauline Lambourne she lived in Hayle Cornwall and was born in 1960

We haven't spoken and she only gave me his name he knew I existed as had letters from him but mum ripped them up when I found them

Welcome to the boards Leanne.

If your dad was not named on your birth certificate it will be difficult for anyone to help find him. Is your mum still alive and if so could she give you more details? If not is there anyone else in the family who might have known your father's name? Without a name it is not going to be easy.

Hello all

I'm really looking for my dad who was with my mum Pauline Lambourne around 1977 and I was born 78 I'm called Leanne Lambourne. My mum and dad where together in Hayle Cornwall where as far as I know he served in navy at culdrose Helston. I think he was Scottish. If anyone has anything that could help be very grateful.
