For some time now I have been hoping to trace Alan Moore who is a cousin I have never met. Any information would be helpful.

Looks as though he's your maternal uncle's son but he remarried so what happened to Alan? Was he adopted or did he take his mother's new partner's surname? We need some background information.

By the way, he's Alan J and registered in the first quarter of 1949 so could be a 1948 or 1949 birth,
