I have been trying to find family members who are related to my father Harold Burgin he was born 1929 in Stainforth, Doncaster. Also looking for my brother-in-law David Allen. A school friend Nicola Bradshaw who i was in school with in Bristol 1975.
Any help with these requests will be very much appreciated. Thank you. :-)

Have you got the names for any brothers or sisters of your father, and any cousins that you know of?

David Allen is a very common name, a place and year of birth would be helpful.

Similarly a year of birth for Nicola - and have you any friends on facebook from that time who might also know of her?

Hello, were your father's parents Edward and Ada (Dixon) Burgin?

I conducted a search on FreeBMD and it said that your father's mother's maiden surname was Dixon. This marriage between Edward and Ada in 1914 seemed like the only plausible one. Am I correct?

and you should be able to find Burgin/Dixon births (6 spread between Worksop and Thorne)

If you want to find family members it is best to put their names in your tree on here.

That way, people can contact you if they see that you have common ancestors, e.g. your grandparents.

Similarly you can search and contact them through their trees.

It is possible Harold`s mother was Ada Annie Dixon b 1893 Worksop who died
1931 3rd qrter ln Thorne , Harold`s youngest sibling Albert Burgin born same time in Thorne .
