Find Living Relatives

Hello l am trying to find the following person Maureen Kelly born 1949 who lived on Rugby Street Islington London in the mid 50's who had an aunt Cecilia. Thank you for any help you can give.

Look for her in 'search all member trees'. As it isn't allowed to include anyone without having obtained the person's permission, any entry should be that of someone who has contact with her

On which side of the family was the aunt connected?

Possibly more likely Maureen Kelly, with no middle names, born Islington in last quarter of 1948.

Was Maureen living with her aunt? Do you know if she was an actual aunt, or just an adult friend who was known as "aunt"?
Most of us of that generation had people like that in our childhoods!
I had an Auntie Margaret, who was no relation, but had been a school friend of my grandmother.

I don't know how the London districts relate to each other -

Is Rugby Street, Holborn, the same as Rugby Street, Islington??

If Cecilia wasn't a "real" aunt -
From at least 1946, until at least 1962, at 11 Rugby Street, Holborn & St Pancras, there's a Kelly family , and also, presumably in a different flat, a Cecilia/Cecelia Barrett.
More Barretts lived at no.9, though not immediately related, as far as I can see.


Not that that helps find where Maureen is now.
Maureen Kelly is a very common name, unfortunately.

In case it turns out to be relevant, in 1971 that Cecilia Barrett married Frederick J
Digance, who is also at 11 Rugby Street in 1960-62 [ ADDED: and earlier years ].
Cecilia was still listed in London in 2004, and Frederick until 2007, although not in Rugby Street.

In 1962 the only remaining Kelly at 11 Rugby Street was Mary Ann Kelly.

This may well be her marriage - also listed as Maureen: <<<<<<
