Hi I have inquired about this before but due to deaths in family I decided not to perdue but now I as m very keen to get my late dads army records as I was only 32 when he passed and I never asked enough questions. So her is what I know he was in the royal signals he was born 11 01 1927 he was adgetant at 21 he was awarded the oak leaves medal he ended up a captain we know he was involved in Monte casino we know he trained at OCTU (don't think that's slept correct) he was from stenhouse in Edinburgh when he was we think as alieutenant he was in the London gazette. His mother was Elizabeth Keir and his father was john Mitchell both from Banff Aberdeen. If anyone can find out anything or tell me how to go about getting his army records I would be grateful. Thank you very much

All the details are on this site on how to apply for them but they do take 6-9 months to arrive

Pamela, to find all the threads you have posted on, click on My Threads, under Tools to the left of this board - as you haven't had many posts there shouldn't be very many in the list.
