From Bocking born 02/02/1877 died Galipoli. Service number 17902, trying to find any photograph of James if any one has one or knows where one is. ;-)

Might be worth trying his local paper for some time after he died. They often printed articles and/or photos of those who were killed during the war

You could contact the Essex Regiment Museum and see if they have any regimental photos that he may be on.

Have you tried looking in "search all member trees" under "search" above to see if anyone else on Genes has him in their tree and may have a photo?
