Help to trace William Richard Marshall or his living Relatives to return this letter to them.
It Reads:

from The War Office
Casualty Branch

Dear Sir/Madam
With reference to War Office telegram dated 25th July 1940, I am directed to inform you it has been announced on the German Wireless, that William Richard Marshall, born on 30th November, 1912 is a prisoner of war. I shall be glad if you will be good enough to say whether you recognised the name of the solider concerned, and if no, whether you can furnish his army number and unit.
