Does anyone have an Arthur in their tree who was in Germany in about 1947.? He died in a car crash, we think again in Germany.

Thank you

Lynne

That's a rather vague request Lynne - did you forget to add the surname?

Assuming you know the surname and approx yob, use the search all members trees facility on this site. It's unlikely that anyone with personal knowledge would come across your post

If not, do any of these ring a bell?

So sorry but I did say it was a long shot............ We just know that a close relation, now deceased had been working in Germany and her fiancee was killed in a car accident around 1947. He was called Arthur. When she died she had RAF wings which she used as a brooch; she had never married so we think these must have belonged to her fiancee, Arthur.

Just thought it might ring a bell with someone.

Thanks.
