Asking again won't get you a different answer. These records are not in the public domain. All you can do is apply for them as already said.

Have a look here for details of how to apply for them. WW2 records are still with the MOD.

They will cost £30 and take several months to arrive.

he was in the royal engineers enlisted in Glasgow 1942?
please can anyone help.
