Member Since: February 2007 Posts: 1 Send Message	I am lookng for the service records of my g grandfather Private Thomas Francis Sarginson, born Yorkshire 1886. I have found his medal index card and awards roll, but nothing else regarding his service records, does this mean they are unavailabe or destoyed? Any ideas will be helpful Thanks RASC R/357101

	I can't find anything other than his medal card on Findmypast so it is more than likely that his records were destroyed in a fire. About 70% of WW1 records were destroyed. Kath. x
