Its obvious that our way of talking as individuals is off putting for our GR family.or is that our fault, ? an invitation to all, you can join us,just think about it , and avail that book which shows contrasting gists for words.

Sorry to disappoint you but postcard not practical on this occasion.
Good that your mood is now buoyant by warmth and bright sky.
Long may it last

Probably not having faith in smooth transition from said mainstay without a lot of anguish and doubt about wisdom of such a jump is stopping you from acting.
If you hold out too long, opportunity may pass you by.
Lacking faith in your own wisdom is your own undoing .
Grasp as much umph as you can and do it.

I'm afraid I'm all out of postcards (must add to shopping list )
Good luck !

Whilst it is right that a final warning is just, can you say that to a company that is my
mainstay, and habitually cuts off just as you don't want it too......Why don't I go away from this particular mainstay ? Your hints on a postcard !!!!

Mike * Report 11 Jun 2014 20:04

No hanging on this occasion but could incur black mark against your call sign if it crops up again.
This is a final warning.
Half a mind to flash a card of a said colour but that would no doubt ask for many damning words from our band of quiz addicts so I will just sign off with a wagging digit.
;-)

No mind block Mia, just a blip with that which is should to go right and occasionally, has a mind of its own.....as I do not stay on for an hour I can only say that it wasn't my fault !!!

It looks as though last contributor had a mind block so posts again an hour and a half following prior post.

Worthy as it is. I will not do similar.

It is truly amazing how many words you can find without using "" . Mindful of what you say, ultra tidy and assists in showing that anything is within your ability, if you try.

This is first occasion of visiting this board and it is fascinating. I do word conundrums for fun, but this is difficult. It is probably good for my brain though.

Congratulations to all contributors.

This is a way of asking your imagination to work in unusual ways and to adapt to a strict limitation of vocabulary, which is not thought of as 'normal'

Greenfingers

Greenfingers Report 29 May 2014 16:47

To try or not to try, which is difficult..It says to us that our minds must go along a road that is unusual and not what an individual is waiting for. so stop this wimpish conduct and gain faith in an ability of your mind, and brain to find many words not always brought into play,, during daily work.

Mike * Report 6 May 2014 16:59

I did try hard... thought and thought but nothing sprang to mind.
Far too difficult.
It's just not natural.
Just as it's instinct for girls to wash up, polish, shop and cook, normally can do it without thinking.
But to avoid adopting fifth symbol in most writings is asking too much .
I applaud all that can do without it but I lack such an art.
Sorry.
