I would like to thank every one on this site that helped me find my mums biological mother, with out the help from fellow members i would still be going through the slow progress of searching records and other leads. so thank you every one!

I found Margaret moir chugg ms. milne who is my mums mother and all her children after 52 years my mum was over welmed as not only did i find her mum she has found that she has a sister and two brothers. Mum had longed for this day to come and thanks to genes reunited i got to give her the one thing in the world that she had wished for for many many years!
we made contact by phone and two weeks after that we met at glasgow central station for the first time in 52 years .
They now have regular contact and plan to stay together this time , i would just like to say to new users of this site that i had been searching for years and getting no where untill i regesterd on gennes reunited ! after 8 weeks due to the help of other members we found mums family!
so to all new members don't be afraid to ask for help and send as many messages to members that have people of the same name and age as the people you are looking for , you will find who ever you are looking for and dont give up!!
