This site is incredible. I have now had contact fron two distant cousins (different branches) who I didn't know existed. The second contact is descended from the daughter, of the first marriage, of my 3x great grandfather Samuel Goddard to Elizabeth Newman.I descend from his marriage to Jane Rayner who he married after Elizabeth died. If this rings a bell with anyone the area is Bilsington and Foolkestone Kent.
