When l joined GR l was looking for one part of my family and have found much more. l have been able to put together the names my mum had told me years ago (she died in 1986) and found how they connected to me. l found relations l did not know existed.
A cousin in the US was only able to contact me last weekend to let me know she was in the UK but returning tomorrow. We are meeting at Heathrow before she leaves, and l am going to surprise her with another cousin. We have only met twice before, at our weddings in 1976 and 1980 but l can't say we actually spoke to each othet then. We might be making up for it now!
