I registered and paid my subscription this morning. At 10.30a.m. I discovered a name from my tree being researched by someone, so at 10.49 I sent an e-mail.At 1.55p.m. I received a reply which sounded favourable, so I replied that I thought we were related, and sent more details. At 3.49 I received another e-mail starting "Wow! Is this exciting -or what!" I am now arranging to meet my new-found second cousin. Later today I received an e-mail from a second researcher interested in my mother's maiden name. He also turned out to be a second cousin. How's that for a good day's work!! Thank you for achieving in one day what I've looked for for twenty years - someone else researching the same family names as me. |
