From gypsy stock I found it difficult enough to trace the name Smith , then Andrews was my next challenge in in finding the origins of an oral history past down from Grandmother to granddaughter then to great great grandson
Story was that my G.G grandmother's worked on a canal and labored on farms . using a series of census records I've traced Thomas Andrews to Fritwell Oxfordshire at a place called Fritwell Lack on the oxford Canal.

Thank you all those who did the transcribing and made the job a little easier .
