thanks to help From members I have had considerable success tracing my late Grandfather born 1861 Tunstall Lodge Burdon Durham Married first wife April 3rd 1882 Sunderland parish church 2 son's Married 2nd wife My Grandmother June i891 Broadwater Parish church Worthing Sussex declared himself a bachelor 5 children 3 survived to adulthood deserted family between 1905 & 1910 living as lodger at George & Dragon Thames Ditton 1911 census 1919 recorded living at 19 South bank Long Ditton with Emily Gertrude White 1922 Emily gave birth to daughter Primrose Bainbridge Robert recorded as Father 2 sons Harry Robert 1925 & Peter Robert 1928 Harry died aged 7yrs Robert Rutter died November 1936 aged 75 Father & son both buried St Mary's Long Ditton Primrose Married a Canadian serviceman Alpine Gowan 1942 one of her son's was called Robert |
