Changes to Surname summary

Just a couple of quick suggestions for the Surname Summary.

On the first page of the surname summary would it be possible to have the letters of the alphabet instead of page numbers. Then it would be easier to find a particular surname by letter instead of clicking though pages of names.

I just went to look at activity on my M surnames which I know is on page 10 of my summary and the dreaded error message appeared.

The second suggestion which is for my benefit seeing I make the same mistake all the time (I know I'm dumb but honest) if you go through the summary to find a particular surname and then if you decide you only want the activity for the past couple of days when you change the activity then the page reverts back to page 1. Is there any chance that a page keeper program could help with this one?

I know someone will read this and say is this woman stupid just change the activity setting before selecting the surname which sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. :-D
