More fields in the record search would be handy.

More fields in the record search would be handy. I am trying to see if a relative has had children I know what the sir name is but not the Christian name or dates or even location this obviously makes the search unmanageable, however if I could search births with the Sir name and filter it with the mothers maiden name (this information is on the records) the search would be narrowed down considerably. It is however very possible that I have missed something and this can be done if so could you let me know how.

Many thanks

Mike

Freebmd is good as long as the people you are searching for were born before 1950ish There are some later births but they are not completed yet
