I recently subscribed to a Platinum Account...but when I try to view original documents for the 1901 Census, I get told that I haven't got the right type of Adobe Viewer. I have tried a number of times to download the correct software from the links on the webpage...and am told that its been successfully installed, yet I still can't see the documents from the 1901 Census.
I am able to view the original documents for all of the other years!!

I think the problem might be that your browser is not set up to open pdf files within a web page.

However, rather than post on here, you need to contact the Genes support team with details of your browser, version and operating system, for advice.

email [email protected] or use the contact us option which you will find under the Help drop down menu, top right.

This advice may be of help, hopefully, in response to others experiencing a similar issue:

Thanks for the advice Inspector & Joy.

I have now contacted the support team as suggested & resolved the issue by using Firefox instead of IE9.
