Suggestions

No error messages, but PLEASE can someone tell me why on Find Ancestore, I get the message "the connection to the server was broken while the page was loading"
It only happens on page 1 & usually after the page has loaded, but before i get time to look at any threads.
If I uickly go into page 2, then back to page 1, everything is OK.
Only happens on Ancestors & don´t have the problem on other sites. Just on Genes.
It´s driving me mad. :-S :-S :-S :-S :-S

It has just taken me THREE attempts to open My Threads


at this ungodly hour of the UK night



Now I know I will face umpteem Error messages every time I try to submit a post on any thread on any Board

I've had so many ERROR MESSAGES in the last few days, I've lost count!

Sending messages, trying to read messages....... all over the place!

I just tried to search for the surname CHRISTIE born in LANARK between 1870 & 1890, and ofcourse I got a long list of CHRISTIE names born in LANARKSHIRE. I tried again, this time CHRISTIE born in LANARK LANARKSHIRE......... guess what I got? Yup, ERROR MESSAGE!!!

For goodness sake GR, stop messing about with new stuff! Fix the broken system we're stuck with!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two out of three times that I click on My Threads I get the error message.

Just how many times does this error message have to be logged before something is done about it ?

Spend ages trying to get on to the site, then keep getting timed out when I try to open posts=move round the boards.
More than a little fed up now. :-(

I'm also seeing an error message when trying to move around the boards. Most notably when trying to move through threads that have numerous pages.

But after seeing Ancestry ads everyday since the 19th May there hasn't been one yet on the boards. Fingers crossed that problem has been fixed.

I'm still getting the Error message when submitting posts, and about 50% of the time when trying to open My Threads

I get that message too. Also get" unable to find the page at GR "or" the link to the server was broken while the page was loading".
Like you, only on GR. Other sites no problem.

I haven't seen an error message for ages (insert smug face emoticon) however I have an equally annoying variation.....

'Genes Reunited is not responding'.....and my ie goes bang! :-(

Wow several error messages in a few minutes. Hopefully it is due to the site being updated and not a result of the update.
