I like it, I like it...........as sung by Gerry and the Pacemakers many moons ago.

Wondered what on earth had happened when I first logged on but, having experimented with all the fields.......

I like the new look, especially the fonts. My tree is fine......the printing is much clearer and easier to read. :-D

I remember how much people moaned and groaned and complained and carried on when GR changed the background to the green 'Flocked Wallpaper' look. It was tooooo dark. It was tooooo this and tooooo that!

Whatever.

I like the clean look we have now. Thanks GR.

:-D :-D :-D :-D

It's not a case of not liking change Cynthia, I gave quite positive feedback on the beta test re all the things that improved, layout, the search, the tree etc..but I can't see to read here, my emoticons , and tree have gone on IE though they were fine in the beta test so don't understand why.

I can read your post if I change my settings for the whole pc, but otherwise not, and I can't read wehat I am typing now in either case.

I'm glad its ok for you though,

Maybe it's a timing thing Rose ?????

Either that or you had better put your coat on and take a walk in the forest to see if you can spot your tree :)

lol Cynthia I AM going to take a walk in a minute, if not to a forest at least past the trees in the park, to escape the pneumatic drills and road cutters 4 feet from my window, between their noise and the glare on here my head is throbbing :-S

Cynthia it is not a case with me of not liking change. Once before they did something like this and wanted us to have a white back ground but after all the complaints they made the background a greyish tint to reduce the glare. That is all people are complaining about. Many of us 'oldies' and some not so old have sight problems that are exacerbated by a glaring screen making it impossible to stay on here for more than a few minutes without developing a headache. I find the print size ok and have got emoticons and tree (although that has a glare too but these days I don't spend much time on there.) I wear reactolite lenses but even they are not helping. :-( (I am in Firefox by the way).

I must be a fortunate 'oldie' then Ann. I wear specs for reading but am fine with the changes. Yes, it's quite bright but I am lucky in that it doesn't cause me any probs. :-D

Maybe and I say maybe ;-) GR will listen if there are numerous complaints about the brightness and dampen it down a touch.

It must be hard for them though. My ISP changed it's home page last week and now it's black/red/orangey!! :-S Thought we'd gone into Hallowe'en mode at first but have gradually got used to it.

The cyber world doesn't stay the same for a minute does it? :-D
