David, and anyone else who may be concerned. If you have Platinum package, access to 1911 is included. The free availability for a limited period to 1911 is for those who are not on Platinum. Please don't worry, your package options will not change.

David, The 1911 you refer to is a time limited offer for all members,

If you have Platinum membership then you will receive access to the site facilities that is included in that membership package,

Did you read what was included before you subscribed to platinum membership?

If you choose a Platinum subscription you will be able to contact other members, link up to view other members' trees when they invite you to do so and add messages to the message boards. You will also have access to the following records:

England and Wales indexed birth, marriage and death records
Overseas birth, marriage and death records
Census records from 1841 to 1911

Being a Platinum member , after Nov.18th I will have to pay to view these records etc., Is that correct ?

If so what are the advantages of Platinum Membership ?
