Sometimes a library will do a lookup for free but sometimes they charge

Why not phone them

Shirley ~ I didn't think they would be online but thought I would ask on the off chance. Thanks. I think it is the same here in Scotland.

ArgyllGran ~ thanks for the link.

GlitterBaby ~ Only surname we have is the one on the document, Mack, but we are pretty sure it wasn't her house. Yes Macduff is now under Aberdeenshire.

Is a bit of a drive to Aberdeen from where I am but it may be necessary to get some answers!

If you had any idea of the surname you could have searched the British Phone Books on Ancestry. You can not search those records without a surname unfortunately

Won't be online I,m afraid
Most electoral rolls are held at the main library for the area in England and Wales not sure if this is the same in Scotland

Can anyone help?

Is there an electoral roll or something else that can be viewed to find out who was living at 1 High Shore , Macduff in 1959?

Any hints or links to sites or records that I could be using are very much appreciated.
