Did you find the record on GR? If so someone with a full Platinum sub can look it up.

As GR is a sister site to FMP, they share many (but not all) of the records.

Hi

Thank you Shirley and Kathleen for your offer. The site I wanted was United Kingdom Chelsea Pensioners Service Records 1760-1913

The men I seek are James McConnell b 1844 in Co Monaghan Ireland he was in the 4th Queens Own Hussars and is shown as Soldier no 773.

His brother Francis McConnell is shown with him in 1881 census in Aldershot in same regiment but on looking at the listing on Chelsea Pennsioners there are 2 possible. Francis born 1851 Grenadier Guards and one shown as Hussars.

Iam trying to see if these 2 are brothers and hoped to see if the parents names would be mentioned.

Thank you
Maureen
