Is the right one The G.R.O. Index Site tells me Mary Ann was aged 54. on death Which would make her year of birth 1855. Un less my maths is up the creak……..that’s 10 years out. ? G.R.O. Site details July. ~ August. ~ September. Qrt. 1909. Mary Ann Mason. Leicester. Age. 54. Cert No. 7 a. 132. Hi Gemma Have come to the conclusion he's with George 1861 !!! Was hoping that would make you smile, well there are 38 William Fawkes and not one born in Nottingham. I guess it will be a case of looking at variations of the name and a quick look at freebmd for Nottingham only has one marraige in Nottingham for a William Fawkes 1900 ( I put a search in from 1871). Sorry I couldn't help anymore at the moment Elaine

Hi Elaine Yes that is the correct entry. The William Fawkes entry I found on the 1861 census is just a guess, I could not find him anywhere else on that census and thought that could possibly be him??? Let me know what you think? Thanks Gemma.
