Please could you look up on the 1891 census for ELIZA JANE WELFARE (sometimes it has her middle name ) HENRY JAMES FOREMAN They were married 10 August 1890 Strood in Gravesend. ELIZA was born in Rye in Kent, but the problem is there are 2 ELIZA'S born around the same time,one to CHARLES WELFARE AND PHILIP WELFARE.THANK-YOU JANE.

Hi hon Could you have a look for another couple for me, still trying to fit this family together Sophia Bibb living London 1871 census, be about 10 Ellen Bibb b.about 1870 living London 1871 census Might turn out to be sisters but just need to know who the parents of these 2 girls are so I can make a note of it! Jess - sorry for the delay in replying - have only just come back on - BURGESS family 1901 - John Snr was a widower at 5 Cottage View, Portsmouth John Jnr a boarder at 64 Sussex St, Portsmouth Cornelius was on board ship. Re Esther - poor little toad - did cross my mind that children might be in care if they had survived but why on earth Suffolk? TOY family Richard Henry F and Alice Sarah Warren b 1873 Portsea married in Islington in 1892. Sorry forgot to give you details of marr. Know nothing of Richard prior/after marr and nothing of Alice after marr. Thank you Ann

Go on then Frankie- WHERE were they married...! I assume L'pool but pointless me assuming! I cant find an Annie Keating at all in the census before they were married except one of 40 odd.. John McCarthy - for or 5 possibles- but with a father John ,No There is one without a father but that doesn't mean ts him. Sorry, as frustrated as you! jess Jess

Jess Could you possibly do a look up on the 1871 census for Birmingham. JOHN WOOLLEY born Birmingham 1847 should be married wife was younger name unknown. Possibly has his grandparents there who were Joseph and Elizabeth Shale. Not much info I know sorry. Thank you Pat

hi jess-surprisingly I do have a copy of what might be their marriage certificate(JOHN MCCARTHY & ANNIE KEATING)11 NOV 1899.The ages don't quite match up-but I have now realised that is quite common!!The fathers are listed as JOHN MCCARTHY (deceased) and JOHN KEATING kind regards frankie

Hi Jess Sorry I've only just got back to the board. Thank you very much for looking up William Seaton for me, much appreciated! The 1891 death could possibly be his, none of this family seem to have had very long lives! Sister died age 15 months, another age 22 and brother 15, their Mom age 47. One thing about the child born before marriage....at least I have her maiden name now! Thanks again for your time & trouble. Ann (Dorothy)
