Dau. 13. Lucy. Dau. 10. William. Son. 8. JOSIAH. Son. 4. I’ve got record details for Burials of. MARY RODGERS 11th. March. 1837. Aged 37. (looks like Mary died in Childbirth of JOSIAH. 1837.) JOHN RODGERS. 10th. March. 1864. Aged 68. (Think this is Josiah’s Father.) MARY RODGERS. 25th.March. 1848. Aged 68. (Could be the elder Mary on 1841.Census) Looked on 1851. Census for Shepshed and found. John Rodgers Head. 24. Mary. Wife 25. Elizabeth. Dau. 3. Josiah. 14. Brother. So it looks like Josiah is with his Brother & wife. Doubt if you will get a birth Certificate for Josiah. Due to the early date. You will only be able to confirm details through Parish Registers for Shepshed at Wigston Records Office. But it will only tell you date of Christening and the first Names of the parents. Hope this is of help to you. MIKE.
