Fareham Borough Council cover eight cemeteries and if you go to www.fareham.gov.uk you can look at the entries by surname to see if any of yours are in any of the eight areas. Click on the A-Z at the top, then go to C for cemteries and then record search. If you just enter the surname, it will give a list of all the people under that name. Hope it helps somebody. Jan

Pleased that someone nudged this site back into view, as I did not know it existed. To add my contribution I recommend GENUKI for UK and IRELAND Genealogy. I rate this site so highly it forms the opening page on my desktop. You will find Cemetery records and much much more on this site. Follow the instructions carefully to zoom in on the precise area you are searching for, Good hunting! Almost forgot, www.genuki.org.uk/ Ray Whincup

Oh My Gosh!!!! Thanks to Nana Anna (& George of course for setting up this thread) I've just seen a photo of my hubby's great grandparents grave!!!!! and also.......their daughter Alice is buried with them and I've been looking for her death for absolutely ages! To think it's been on a website all along! I'm in Staffs so it's not been an option to search the Wiltshire area graves. I'm dying to call the mother-in-law to tell her, but it's too late now, damn it!! Thanks again, Helen x (who's jumping around with joy and dying to tell hubby who's in the loo!!!)
