hi looking for john owen b1811 married to martha cooley 1811c lived in polar/limehouse in hotel john died leaving martha to bring up the children all in hotel the children spread all over the east end my great grandfather was charles alpha owen HELP they married st sepulter on record 1947 but i cant find anything about them im stuck

Will of FRANCES GRIFFITHS, widow of Poplar 1827 I have just downloaded a will from NA that is not mine - if anyone is interested I can send you a copy. Husband Owen Griffiths, shipwright. Son William Griffiths, executor, daughters Martha and Charlotte Griffiths. Daughters from former husband Frances Hill and Mary Ann Hill, Daughter Elizabeth wife of Thomas Cooley/Nolley? and his daughter from first wife, Ann Mary Cooley. Sounds like in 1835 all but Elizabeth are dead. Too tired to read the rest... Lyla PS IGI Marriage 1793 shows an Owen Griffiths marrying a Frances Hill in Westminster and a baptisms of William, Charlotte and Martha Griffiths in Stepney/Poplar 1793-1798

Looking for information about the HUNT family from Stepney who had a building firm there in the late 1800s - Early 1900s. Also John & Fanny RILEY living in Aldersgate in 1841. John ran a coffee shop and his Daughter, also Fanny was born in Africa so he may have travelled to purchase supplies. Anyone have any further info?

Shoreditch Matilda WOOD 5-10-1872 Police Station, age 63, book sewer, widow of William Wood pocket book maker, sudden serious apoplexy, coroner inquest held ***would love to know what she was doing in the police station! North Hackney 16-4-1911 Spring Lane Upper Clapton, Frederick WOOD, age 71, a fishing tackle maker of 8 Crooked Billed Yard Shoreditch, Suffocated by vomit, concussion of brain, wounds of head, accidental fall, coroners inquest held ***wish this one was mine!
