Ernest Neal married Lydia Chatterton (bn Holbeach.1887. ) in the March Quarter 1921. Rotherham 9c.1400. I know Lydia's antecedents but cannot find anything about Ernest. I have not seen the 1910 Census for Rotherham. in 1905 I believe the Chatterton family were living at 26 Eastwood Lane Rotherham.father William and mother Margaret (Pettit). any help much appreciated. |

Could this be Ernest in the 1901 census? What does it say his father name and occupation are on the marriage cert? |

All I know is from BMD. records. Lydia was my grandfather's sister. the age looks about right. |

Thankyou very much for the help. the Chatterton family came from Lincolnshire. Spalding and Boston connections. also Holbeach. so this is logical . he is younger but not much. I don't think that they had any children but Lydia may have written cookery books. They also lived in Pinchbeck. Thanks again. P. |

Thank you all very much. I feel that it is the Lincolnshire family as the Chatterton family also lived near Pinchbeck and were connected to the Railways. Hopefully I can now proceed a bit further. through the Neal family siblings. |
