It's at the bottom of the first page as 'source information', before you click on image to view!

Says something like RG... folio... book... page...

hi, madmeg,
wonder if there is any way of finding out what mary's maiden name was? I have been onto the LDS site and i think i found richard with a mary and her surname was Hartley but i dont know if this is my richard and mary or not. there were no children listed with them and I know my gt gt grandfather was Job Roe!
Any help would be much appreciated.
thank you, Jane

Hi,

I can't find a Richard born in Wigan - only one born in Rattlesden - Is this the same one as he has more children than you mention?

Can you give the ref no RG.............. so I can find it to take a look please?

Hi, Jill,

I think he was born c. 1793 in wigan and i have found out that he married a lady called mary. I have found him on other trees on here but there is very little information to go with it.
Richard and mary had 4 children, George b.1840, Job b.1844, Harriet b. 1847 and Catherine b.1847
I know that Job was born in Rattlesden Suffolk but dont know where the others were born.

thank you for your time Jane.
