Find Ancestors

I've reached a dead end trying to find William Lewis who was born c1841 in St James, Middlesex. His father was also William Lewis born c1804 and his mother was called Jane (I also can't find her maiden name).
I've found the family in the 1851 census living at 37 Rupert St, St. James but after that, I can't find him. I have found his father on the 1861 census.
His sister, Caroline was born in 1836 and she is my gggrandmother.
Any help greatly appreciated!

That 1861 one was a Porter in the household of a Coffee Dealer.

The occupations are different, but here's a possible in 1881.

Many thanks for that...I was hoping he had been a boot maker like his father, might have been easier to decide if it was the right one! I was also hoping that he had married as I'm trying to find out about his mother Jane and not having any luck there. I've got to go offline for a couple of hours as OH needs the computer but I will check in later.

Might be worth asking if someone can check London parish records on Ancestry to see about a marriage. (And maybe Caroline's baptism just in case her mother's name has been recorded).
