I am having trouble finding John Hastie born 14/01/1908 Gateshead mothers maiden name .also any info on his parents etc
He married Kathleen Parish born 05/12/1909 in 1937

Did he have any younger siblings? If he had any born after 1911 you will be able to find his mother's maiden name without having to buy the cert.

his marriage cert will have his fathers name on it and then we could go about looking for his mother

i'm going to hazard a guess at his mothers maiden name being Crowe. Note, the important part is that it's a guess and i'm going on later hastie children born in gateshead.there is also a thomas crowe hastie born in 1904. the marriage of crowe and hastie was in 1897

He did have brothers and sisters. Tom Ted and Lily and there was another sister Mamie not sure he thats spelt write but she lived in Australia hope this helps...........from my Dad Peter Hastie as asked about his Dads brothers and Sisters
