Oh Christine! You need to meet the control-f function!

Hold down the control key and press the f key.

If you're in Internet Explorer, a little box will open where you type the word you're searching for.

If you're in Firefox (infinitely better), a box will open along the bottom of your screen.

Whichever it is, just type

cong

and press Enter. It will find you the Congellus Jones marriage in the blink of an eye, and the Juliana marriage is right below it.

Evie, I found the Control-f function on Old Crone's tips for the IGI a while ago. It is soooo helpful and time saving. Before that, I had been scrolling up and down pages of names until I was x-eyed!

Another reason for GR to put some more helpful guidelines up!

Isn't it wonderful to have a name like Congellus in the family though? Makes searching really fun.

Dea! (and Jean!) I posted the Juliana Jones + Hughes marriage -- and the URL for the Lanc OPC site -- halfway up the page! The invisible woman, that's me.

That was the whole point -- to provide another line of relations for Jean to drive herself nuts looking for. ;)

Wow this is amazing
I'm the youngest son of Congellous Sidney Jones - Stanley Jones

I have a half brother who is Graham Congellous

My business is called Congellous Ltd

The Irish saint research I've read before but it is obvious there is a difference in the Gaelic spelling so I can't trace it - congellous is a romanisation but of what it could be Conner - Conchobhar

Another interesting fact Congelous or similar is "frozen" in Portuguese

When I had my 23 and me Genetics done it went back to the kings of Tara the Uí Néill dynasty on the paternal side

Thanks so much for this info

Welcome to the boards, Stanley.

You have added to a thread from 2009, so it's not likely that Jean, who started the thread, will be looking for replies now.

If you wish to try to contact her, click on her name in green at the top of one of her posts, and send a private message.
If she still has the same email address, GR will notify her of your message.
