I have just put a post on the community board as u suggested haven't searched any trees yet as I have only just starting use this website and still a bit confused and thanks heaps for your help I didn't no there was a third marriage I have no idea when he was born and have no birth or death certificate for him either so happy I have a starting point now

Hi was wondering if you might me able to help me find my Grandfather his name is Arthur Walter Hodson I have no birth or death certificate for him and have no idea where he was born his first wife was Edna Rimmer who had 3 children Leslie born in 1941 who is my father ernest born 1944 died 1945 and jean born 1946 he divorced my grandmother in 1949 within a couple months married Rose Gardner in 1949 and had 2 sons Walter S hodson in 1954 and Henry J Hodson 1952 my grandmother and her 2 children moved to Australia in 1955. And I also live in Australia too and am finding it really hard trying to track family and would appreciate any help at all. Thanks Sandra.

She is a shop assistant born 1919 accompanied by Mr L Hodson born 1941, and Miss J S Hodson born 1946 , so I think that should read " Leslie born 1941 my father" ie it's Leslie who is Sandra's father.

Address in uk 10 Osborne Road Wallesey Cheshire. L and J S are described as son and daughter of Mrs E respectively, and all three are classed as 'single' (note at head of column says widowed or divorced to be classed as single).

Jacqueline hasn't visited this thread since October 2012.

You would do much better, Sandra, to post a request of your own.

In the meantime, get a copy of one of the marriage certs to find out how old he said he was, and whether he knew his father

I wonder if you can help. I have found an Elizabeth Cook b 1887 in Addlestone, Surrey on the 1911 census living at Staines Union Workhouse, Ashford, Middlesex. I know she had a son called William Cook b circa 1907 and I can see on that census that there is a boy of that name and age living in the same place, with what looks like a possible older brother called Henry Cook b 1906, both birthplaces listed as Sunbury, Middlesex. Are you able to find any records of their birth for me - I would like to be able to confirm Elizabeth as their mother and maybe find their father.

hi jacqueline ,i need help with my gr gr gran eliza wilkins and her mother being of traveler family its hard to find them but eliza was born 1829 basingstoke so i was told and george green her husband was born 1827 basingstoke i have no parents for either of them and no date of birth for any of them.is there a chance you might be able to help kind regards unity

Hello Jacqueline - trying to find Grace BLUNDEN born 1870 in West Clandon Surrey on 1901 census - found her on 1891 and 1911 (I think!) but wonder where she went in the meantime! Also household of William Blunden born 1866 living in Southampton. Many thanks for any help!
