Trying to find any information on Richard Hall Bate or his family,Richard was born 1884 in Lowton Lancs, and died circa 1980 I have no record of any wife. His parents wher Peter Bate born Kenyon Lans 1859 & Mary Hall born Pennington Leigh, Lancs 1861.
He wa the eldest of 4 brothers and 3 sisters any help on his family would be greatly appricated

A mistake many of us make. Don't assume that a child's middle name is mother's maiden name! T'aint necessarily so.

unfortunately Bate is a popular name in Lowton and there are several births which could be children of Richard between 1908 & 1911 before mmn was added to the indices.
