She says born moylegrove(correct spelling) on all census after this as Martha davies(married name),but I cant find her with
father John thomas,cooper by trade, as per her marriage cert.
Any help gratefully recieved.

Look at the squiggly 'r' in Ireland - they match. Spelling mistake - no 'u' is common. Can't read the name though lol!

Johanna is a widow in 1881 but I can't find a death for anyone resembling John Lace - or John with a middle name - on FreeBMD.
I can't find them in 1861 although they should be there with a John and a Michael.

But Im thinking that maybe they were still in Ireland and it was easier just to say all the kids were born cardiff?

Blessed if I can find martha on 1871 on anc ,even with the piece numbers etc.
Think I had best give this up as a bad job.

You wont find John tobin on freebmd,he was born Ireland.
