Trying to find my Dad's Army Records

I have tried to find my late father's Army records, with no success so far as and would really appreciate it if anyone has any idea where I could obtain them?
My father, Ronald Stevens b. 1927 Walpole Cross Keys, Norfolk joined the REME as a boy soldier and rose through the ranks from a Private to a Staff Sergeant and was awarded the 1939-1945 medal, the Malaysia and Palestine medals and the Regular Army Long Service and Good Conduct medals. I know from what he told me that he was also stationed on sentry duty at Auschwitz and would dearly love to find his records for our family tree.
With many thanks
Jayne

Sorry Cathy, my Dad was born in Walpole Cross Keys Norfolk and died 1990 Wisbech Cambridgeshire. His parents (my grandparents) were Alfred Thomas Stevens, born 3/05/1899 Clenchwarton Norfolk and Nellie Cooper b. 1898 Norfolk. My mother, Sheila Stevens (nee Ratford) passed on in July 2005, so I would be the person as the next of kin and I really don't mind waiting as long as it takes to get this. I have hit brick walls for so long that a light at the end of the tunnel would be brilliant! I do have several books from the early days of Dad's career in the Army and beyond, so any help with getting the full thing would be brilliant to save for future generations.

Thanks so much for your help/advice

Hi Folks!
Just to let you know that , with thanks for all your help, I obtained my late Father's Army Service details and they arrived in September last year - but also that another family member found the original books when they were clearing out another family members house recently - amazing!
It just goes to show what people keep - and also remember to pass them on to the ones who come after!
Thank you so much for your help and I will treasure them all.
Best wishes - and please keep up the good work you do for us!
