Sorry Cathy, my Dad was born in Walpole Cross Keys Norfolk and died 1990 Wisbech Cambridgeshire. His parents (my grandparents) were Alfred Thomas Stevens, born 3/05/1899 Clenchwarton Norfolk and Nellie Cooper b. 1898 Norfolk. My mother, Sheila Stevens (nee Ratford) passed on in July 2005, so I would be the person as the next of kin and I really don't mind waiting as long as it takes to get this. I have hit brick walls for so long that a light at the end of the tunnel would be brilliant! I do have several books from the early days of Dad's career in the Army and beyond, so any help with getting the full thing would be brilliant to save for future generations. |
