we'll just be as quiet as the proverbial mouse

and maybe she won't

I'm being very quiet anyway as OH has stayed home today to work on his book .... his office is down in the basement, and he is very easily disturbed!

Cynthia Report 2 Jul 2010 20:53

Ginny can hear anything - it's something to do with her having her ear to the ground.

SlingerWood Report 2 Jul 2010 21:07

Whispering now…. Don’t mention rodents am trying to be as quiet as a m…e… a little fury thing.

Got to put together a letter for the 98 year old auntie… any ideas as to what to say with out killing her off.

SylviaInCanada Report 2 Jul 2010 21:08

found this on a thread I posted on a couple of days ago

"I apoligise i have not replied sooner, a kind fellow member let me know that i needed to go to the thread to see if i had any replies."

I'm presuming you are the "kind fellow member" :)))))

as for that Gins

what can i say

she's from Yorkshire :)))

SylviaInCanada Report 2 Jul 2010 21:12

how about something along the lines of you .........

have been doing your family tree, you have been married for almost 40 years to xxxxx xxxxxx, and that xxxxx has always been upset that she has not had any contact with her father's family since her father zzzzzz zzzzzzz died towards the end of WW2, soon after she was born.

In the course of your research you have come across some documents that indicate that he might have been your brother. If so, xxxxx would love to make contact with you, and learn something of her father's family

FannyByGaslight Report 2 Jul 2010 21:13

Cynth is the letter writer here Peter
,or Janey,
but she seems to have gone walkabout at the mo with her medical drama of No1 still ongoing.

Hmm maybe not Janey, when she starts theres no stopping her and you would have writers cramp and prob the old girl would pop her clogs before finishing reading it..

Gee Report 2 Jul 2010 21:19

Well...let’s start with the 98 year aunty...hello hun...I'm your nephew and I like seeing RATS in agony

Whispering...hmmm, have a very keen ear place in the world

Sun...Coming from Yorkshire over to Notts....big smile I could help honey

SlingerWood Report 2 Jul 2010 21:21

SylviaInCanada Report 2 Jul 2010 21:27

I've only just had my lunch!!

and the sun is shining .... wow!

Cynthia Report 2 Jul 2010 21:32

Is it a full moon tonight?

I let someone know that they had some extra info on their thread and it looked interesting. Just had a reply saying simply:

which one

I have replied

which one what?

Norty me.

re whispering....

have heard that Ginny can be heard over three fields as they say round here.

Sylvia, re things Chinese. My dad used to collect Willow Pattern china and had several beautiful pottery pieces of Chinese origin - a very talented nation.

Gee Report 2 Jul 2010 21:37

Shhh...I'm waiting for the RAT

Edit we have streets here you know and lights and lecy...not like our Fans

Wheres HID Fans....out doors maybe? Have a cuddle and love up

FannyByGaslight Report 2 Jul 2010 21:38

Thats the easiest way.

Air rifle pellet in the head ,all over,no dying in agony ending with lips curled into a rictus.

Did you know that when it starts to take effect (the poison) they crawl around and then can be picked off by crows etc that can eat them and die of the poison as well?

What HID has done is too bad for a make up today,or even this week...
Unless he crawls on his knees.
AND he knows it.
I bets he dont do it again..........

In fact I have just opened the bottle of wine that I have had winking at me all week and will now drink it so I snore all night just so he cant sleep..:))!!

Gee Report 2 Jul 2010 21:47

Oh how awful for them hmm...better than my kids getting weils...or even the black death and killing millions

Poor rats....

Fans...I dont do guns...they kill people

Cynthia Report 2 Jul 2010 21:53

not a debate on guns.....and sympathy for rats.......not at this time of night.....arghh.

Sorry Fans, I thought your post re letter writing was a question to me......not a statement of confidence lol
One of the posters I am on about is a Peter you see and I thought you had gone all telepathic or something.

SylviaInCanada Report 2 Jul 2010 21:54

that sounds BAD, with capital letters!!

will be back later ........... time to go get ready, write the shopping list, and organise OH to do the banking and the shopping while I sit in the coffee shop having a second soy latte

which will cost more today than it did on Wednesday because we've had a b****y new provincial tax imposed on us.

By a government that promised before the last election never to bring in the HST (as it's called), then announced 3 days after winning re-election that HST would begin on July 1 2010.

can you spell the word L I A R S?

Over 750,000 British Columbians have signed a petition to have the tax bill revoked ...... that's almost more than the total number who voted in the last provincial elections. In one riding, twice as many people have signed the petition as voted for the guy who won last time

The next stage begins in November .... we have legislation allowing for petitions to recall MLAs (Member of the Legislative Assembly), and names can be started to be collected in November. They then have 60 days to collect names of 40% of the voters who were eligible to vote on the last provincial election day ........ THAT could be the stumbling block. People move pretty frequently here, and the voters' list is never up-to-date anyway!

ah well ........ it's only money after all!!!!

sleep tight those of you who might go to bed before I return!

Cynthia Report 2 Jul 2010 22:09

Have one on us Sylv! Enjoy and put all thought of taxes out of your mind!

Just watching Grumpy old is SO funny!

FannyByGaslight Report 2 Jul 2010 22:26

I likes Grumpy Old Women too.

Sound just like some I wont mention..

But what they say is sooo true..

Cynthia Report 2 Jul 2010 22:31

Son bought me the GOW book for Mother's Day a couple of years ago...

....what was he telling me?

Ah well, time to hit the mattress - or collapse on it more like....night all.

SylviaInCanada Report 3 Jul 2010 03:26

I guess you're all sleeping peacefully, with the odd snore here and there

well, one coffee, one soy latte and one pecan and cranberry tart (for OH!) cost 58 cents (= pennies) more today than it did on Wednesday!! 9.00 on Wednesday, 9.58 today.

ah well

as I said before ................ it's only money, I can't take it with me.

off to mooch around, and see what's going on

Gee Report 3 Jul 2010 07:28

Now I do like the odd latte but waht the hell is a 'soy latte'

Oh hang on as I type....a non dairy latte?

Do you say Latt..a or Lar..ta.

I'm looking for rats with rictus cant see any yet!

Wakey wakey everyone............
