I'm hoping it is but i've looked on the census for his family and birth the ones where they are listed in that year for the marriages etc. It could be but until i get intouch with my cousin again i'm not exactly sure so i'm not going to send for it as my cousin lives i manchester so she's got more information |

I've looked and i can't see any that match and the records that are on here that the DEATHs are recorded i cant find any to match with my uncle jack. i've looked on freebmd and i can't find it on there. I guess i have to ask my cousin and aunt again. there are so many sites to view to access these records but most of them you have to sign up and pay for i'm on to sites allready this and ancestry |

AlexWoozle what i meant is that i couldn't find a record of the death on the census i know that it will not show the details but i'm going to ask my aunt and cousin again |

Donna - what do you mean by looking on the census for his death? You wont find a. death details on a census, or b. censuses available past 1911 for England & Wales... |

Donna, with the index details posted you can send for it, Tick GRO known -that is the vol. /page numbers. A cert cost £9.50 i think |

I see - always helps! Most people who are known as Jack tend to actually be called John! |

yes it is Jack young although he could have been called John as his father was called John her was born 28 april 1912 in Rostrevor, co. Kilkee n.ireland and i believe he died in manchester in 1980 that is all i know |

yes that;s right it would but i only know him as Uncle Jack even though i never knew my great aunts and uncles and grandad they died before or after i was born in 1981 but i'm intersted to find my family and hopefully have a reunion with the remaining ones |
