Find Ancestors

Hi
I have been researching the Boyes family tree and found that George Boyes, born 1841 in Daventry, Northamptonshire.
But, I have no idea who is parents were as I can't find him on the 1851 or 1861 census'. All I know is that he married Mary Lewis in 1863 in Shoreditch.
Could someone help with the 1851/1861/1871 census' or any info on his parents?

I take it you don't have his birth certificate which would give you his parents for certain
( cannot always rely on census data being accrurate)

It's a bit odd he doesn't put down his father's name? Could he have been illegitimate and put his father's names as Boyes because he did not know his father?

Looks like it could be him. Do you think his father died before 1851 and he didn't know him as he was a baby ? (This would explain the fathers name isn't on the marriage)

Thomas' age in 1841 differs from 1851 ( he is older instead of younger than George)
Maybe the first Thomas died and they called the next son Thomas too.
