Find Ancestors

Help required please!!!!

I can't find a birth record for Charlotte.

What i do know about her is as follows.

Married John Finlay in Carnock, Fife 01/06/1857. Age recorded as 19. Parents John Ramage(deceased) & Margaret Philp.
1861 census Carnock age recorded as 22, born Fife, Crossgates?
1871 census Carnock age recorded as 31, born Fifeshire, Dunfermline.
1881 census Townhill age recorded as 42, born England!
1901 census Townhill age recorded as 62, born Fifeshire, Beath.
Death 02/04/1924 Lochgelly age 85, parents Thomas Ramage & Margaret Philp. Informant Charles Finlay(son)

So I have 4 different birth places and two different fathers names. Scotlands People does have Charlotte Ramage but not this one, same with IGI.
IGI does show 3 children for John & Margaret, John born 1826, Andrew born c 1830 & James born 1836 but no Charlotte!

Am I chasing a non existant record or does anyone have an idea where else i should be looking or even better an answer!

Birth 20 Nov 1839 in Fossoway & Tulebole, Kinross but they have her parents as Colin Ramage and Ann Jack.

The problem with the 1841 is that it doesn't give family relationships. Ther is nothing to say that she was their daughter.

There is this in 1851. This one born in Demfermline but visiting in Clackmannanshire

Not unusual for Scottish married woman to use their maiden name on census. Got several like that in my tree,

Patchem - No I dont have her on any previous censuses

Ann of GG - Thanks for the info. I do have their marriage record and had seen the info regarding death. I'm pretty sure that is Charlotte's father.

Glitter Baby - Occupation is listed as miner. I think the census you have posted is not the same family as the age doesnt match and her father was still alive in 1851 although i know that doesnt mean he was in the house the night of the census.

Catherine - Had seen that record on SP but again doesnt match up with other info. Very confusing indeed!

Astra - 1851 census is a possibility as, after a bit of looking, I found that Anne Snadon was probably Anne(or Agnes) Ramage, possibly an aunt??
